Jetlag to my Advantage

Today I woke up at 4:30am, but instead of that being awful and ruining my day, it was the best thing ever!
I was able to be inspired by a blog by 5:00am, restart my own blog by 6:00am, and by 8:30am my room was all clean, I was completely unpacked and finished some homework.
I say that was very productive.
I even had time to help my mom clean out the bathroom, and make sticky cinnamon rolls by 10:45am.
Then the day slowed a bit... or a lot. I showered and went to get dressed, but I guess since my day was going really well, something had to go wrong. When I went to put together an outfit, I got that feeling that nothing worked, and nothing fit. Such a teenage moment.
I tried on almost every pair of jeans I own (except the ones I was looking for which were in the wash) and changed my outfit too many times to count.
I did my makeup with no smudges and my hair dried nicely, but I just did not want to wear clothes.
Thankfully my mom takes a while to get moving, and I had until 12:30ish to be ready.
[Side note, I somehow, with out wearing my sneakers in a few weeks, misplaced them, and they are still winning a very long game of hide-n-seek]
Our first errand of the day was to buy new sneakers.
I have very messed up legs to say the least, so we only go to this store that is known for helping athletes and people with problems. I'm an ideal customer for them (not the athlete part, the issues part). My mom and I have been getting sneakers there forever, so I knew what I liked and what fits, and we were in and out in 10 minutes.
Next we went to the mall.
My mom had some returns (there always seems to be something to return) in the juniors section of Nordstrom, so I looked around.
My mom has a love of scarves, and found one she really liked. Of course I could wear it too, and "ooh look it comes in different colors."
I tried some things on, and after a battle with a variety of jeans, and a disagreement with some tops, left with a few items. One of which, a jean shirt, has been on my must-have list for a while!
Afterward, we wandered around looking for 344 to return some things to, stopped by the Gap, and grabbed two sandwiches. (I guess Au Bon Pain redid their menu, and the caprese as we knew it is no longer existent, but my picky-eater mom was not informed of this change, and got into a bit of turmoil with the sandwich maker).
Lastly, we stopped by Northface to pick up a new jacket, since the one I had that was white is no longer white, and well... no longer wearable.
We went back to our car (on the way my mom made friends with a three year old) and ate our sandwiches on the way home.
Ok, this is a boring post, so to wrap it up;
I even was able to work out, and get my fave, sushi, for dinner.
Now I have to clean up my mess from my war with clothes this morning, and get some sleep.
Lets hope I don't wake up at 4:30am again. Or maybe do hope I do since I guess I am more productive in the morning.
Good Night.
P.S. Pictures to come
