From NYC and Spain

Today when I was cleaning my room, I reorganized my closet. I do this about once a month to once every two months. So I found a ton of shoes that I want to wear when the weather gets warmer, but I also found a bunch of bags. A little it of history: when I was younger, like 8-12, I have an obsession with handbags. I had 2 full boxes of them in my room, and brought them everywhere. When I was 12, I finally got a few normal looking bags. I have not used them, but they are soo cute. The black one is from Spain My sister got it for me when she was on a teen tour there one summer. The tan one is from NYC. I got it from a street vendor, five minutes before we got in the car to head home. Here are a few pictures of them.

Friday-Saturday

I have been meaning to start this for a while (like since I started my blog) but have not gotten around to doing it, so here it is. Daily Outfits. I love this blog called What I Wore, and it really inspired me to start posting a picture of what I wear daily. What I will most likely do, is post a weeks worth on Fridays. Since I am just starting, the order is messed up, but here are Friday (yesterday) and Saturday (today).

FRIDAY

I placed the camera too low... :P

Cardigan: Jcrew, Scarf: No idea, it was my mom's. Shirt: Free People via Bloomingdales. Jeans: American Eagle

SATURDAY
Its a little hard to see, but the shirt is a lace babydoll, with loop around buttons. I have a teal tank under it.
Sweater: Urban Outfitters. Shirt: Sweden. Jeans: American Eagle

Florals Galore!

So I have been meaning to post for a few days now but I got busy. Anyway, so here are a few pictures of an outfit that I have wanted to wear for a while, but never have. Its really simple. Just a ruffled floral tank from Nordstrom, a really big, off white sweater thingy from Urban Outfitters, and a denim skirt with gold buttons. I like it because the gold and off white are in the shirt so it is very cohesive. And just an FYI, I never look this in terms of hair and makeup. I am always wearing contacts, my hair is wild so it is in a side braid pretty much all the time, and I barely wear any make up. I was bored one night and decided to "fancy up".

Now these are my nails at the moment. I am in love with this new thing called Salon Effects, Nail Strips by Sally Hansen. They are patterns using real nail polish on sticky strips. All you do it peal, stick and file to shape. It so easy and feels just like nail polish. I can't wait to get another pattern.

This is a picture of me in my front yard after a snow storm. I was shoveling. I just got it from my mom and wanted to show everyone how much snow is piled up! (its taller than me!)

The Perfect Accessory

It my not be PERFECT, but its very useful; a scarf. Lately I find my self pairing a scarf with every outfit. Now, here in MA, it is so cold, it just keeps a little more heat from escaping my body,  but they can really make an outfit. They come is every fabric, texture, color, pattern. Plus you can tie them anyway to compliment when you are wearing.  I seem to be wearing normal, two ended scarves, but I tie the ends together to make an infinity scarf. It may be weird, but I love the look of circle scarves, and since I have so many regular ones, why not make my own collection of circle scarves without spending a penny! There are so many ways to tie a scarf, here are a few. (please ignore the hair and shirt. I was getting ready for bed, and wanted to post before I went to bed, but forgot to take the pictures so I took them quickly!)

The fake circle scarf.

The original wrap once and hang.

The "double and pull". (you fold the scarf in half, warp the whole thing around your neck, and pull the fringe end through the looped end.)

 The "Knot".

 The loose knot.

I really don't know what I did here, but it looked cool.

First, I don't know what this is the only smiling one... Anyway, this is the double wrap. Same as the second look, but wrap it around twice instead of once.

Sincerely Liz?

I recently got a few comments saying that when they submit a comment/question, it says sincerely Liz. So I do not know what that us about. I used a pre-made template for the question box, and the original person must have been Liz... I have no idea. So i'm sorry for the confusion. I am trying to fix it! and FYI, if it wasn't obvious, my name is Molly.

Original question: "who is liz? when i post a comment it says its a message with sincerely liz?"

Other Question:  "hi. i really like your blog.. i just wanted to know. i heard about this from a friend, but how else do people find out about it?"

So  first, thank you! It means a lot when people say nice things about my blog since  its  so much about me.  To the person who entered the comment/question, tell your friend thank you for sharing my blog! So to answer your question. I share my blog with my friends, on my twitter and my facebook.  I don't know how to advertise my blog, but  most people find out by someone showing them, or seeing it on one of my profiles. I hope that was enough of an answer!
